A plea for help.

This is why I do not get invested in TV shows. This is why I do not get invested in TV shows. This is why I do not should not get invested in TV shows.

Normally I try to protect myself from the anxiety and potential heartbreak of "Will this TV show I like get the ax or not?" by Just Not Watching TV, and generally this works, until occasionally I let my guard down, watch a few episodes of something, fall stupidly and wildly in love and then realize that the show I can't live without is on the fence due to some crazy network merger that PS makes NO SENSE PEOPLE WHY MUST YOU DO THIS TO ME.

Anyway, basically, there's this vote for the show you can't live without next season going on here and Supernatural is one of the on-the-fencers, neither likely to be saved nor likely to be doomed. If you like the show -- or don't care and don't mind doing a good deed for the needy fans of this show -- then shoot an email here with a subject line of Supernatural (and definitely let me know if you've done it so I can reward you any way you like).

For those of you who are interested and don't want to click on the link to the article, the shows that are Likely to be Saved are George Lopez, Gilmore Girls, The New Adventures of Old Christine, The O.C., Reba, Scrubs, Smallville, Veronica Mars and The Unit.

This is torture. I hate you, television. I need a hug.

Meanwhile there was definitely caffeine in the weird protein drink sample I had at Costco, and all of a sudden the room is spinning and my heart feels like a small nuclear explosion.

ETA: Apparently now we are in the second round of voting, according to this article -- Supernatural is one of the shows left in the final five, so please please please!
