Happy Christmas (Harry)! Happy Christmas (Ron)!
Me and my mother have sort of cheated and decidedly spread out our Christmas gifts for each other over the course of the entire week, so I didn't really have anything to open this morning. Nevertheless, I've gotten some lovely presents this year:
The Secret Garden calendar. I've currently got the 2010 one stuck up on my wall and it's just lovely.
A $25 B&N gift card which I've already bought two books with this morning.
Four books (I ordered five, but 'True Grit' was on backorder) which I got with a $50 Borders gift card from my mum.
An AMAZING electric kettle that brews tea perfectly. It's the most brilliant gift I've gotten.
A necklace made by my Harry Potter Secret Santa that I was matched with over on Tumblr. (I got my Secret Santa a silk Hufflepuff banner, a nonfiction Harry Potter book and a Deathly Hallows necklace.)
And last but not least, the most breathtaking and expensive gift I've EVER gotten, which I'm absolutely in love with and I won't even get until mid-January:
The Canon Rebel T1i EF-S IS SLR WITH EF-S 55-250 MM f/4-5.6 IS Telephoto Zoom Lens.
