Shall we turn back the time?
Made a trip down to Holland V today. Reminisced on the very first time i came here with a Dear Friend. If i'm not mistaken, we walked all the way from her place, stopping by Subway to have my favorite Turkey Breast. It was love at first sight when i arrived at Holland V, especially because dear friend brought me there.
Bused and walked down to Serene Centre at Farrer Road. The widely popular Island Creamery is situated right here. Again, i thought of dear friend telling me about this fabulous chillout ice-cream place after Cold Rock. We often say we will come by here one day to try their ice cream. but it never happen. Not the both of us together at least.
Moving on to Adam Road for the scrumptious Nasi Lemak featured in my wonderful itinerary (haha). Even though this is my second time here, i can vividly remember my first. Yes, dear friend brought us there to try the nasi lemak stall she highly recommended. Crispy chicken wing, fragrant coconut rice paired with spicy chilli - it was heavenly. Despite my stomach condition, i still insisted on eating this tonight, because i thought of you, i thought of the wonderful times we shared, laughing at our sillyness and simply bus-ing all around the island to sample these local delights.

We may still seem like the best of friends, but our conversations have diminished, the bond that brought us close is nowhere to be seen. I do admit sometimes i'm not keen in meeting you for i'm afraid we'll end up having awkward silence or different frequency. Time passes, things change, our close friendship is at stake.
