Yeah, you're spelling it right. I think Pixiu's the one doll out of the 27cm group that hasn't appealed to me.

And I've finally heard back from Dennis at Bobobie, so now I've just got to decide on whether to put the order for the dark tan Bei in now, or wait until I get my federal refund so I can transfer some money into my PayPal.

He appeals to myself and the husband because we've wanted human/dragon-hybrid dolls for a while, now, and he's the first we've come across.

Good luck on deciding! I don't know that I'd be able to wait, in that situation.

Ah. Yeah, I'm not that big into dragons. Though in the beginning I told myself I didn't really want a March either, but then I saw a picture of someone's March on deviantArt and then...

Yeah, it's tough waiting. When it comes to these things I'm a bit of an impatient so-and-so.

Makes sense--dragons aren't for everyone, after all. (Nor are My Little Ponies, for that matter, yet I am all squeeing over my most recent purchase, a MLP fursuit.) I actually like a lot of the BJDs...I'd love to do one up as Vanyel from Mercedes Lackey's Last Herald Mage trilogy.

I can understand--I'm impatient in that regard, too!

Cool! The plan for my dark tan Bei is to do her up like Rue from The Hunger Games. I know it'd be better for me to try and do the clothes myself, but I'm tempted to get the new Katniss Barbie just so that I can use the outfit.

Hopefully my refund will come sometime this week- either way, I don't think I'll be waiting for too much longer.

Oh, that would be so cool, to have her done up as Rue! And I can totally understand the temptation to get the Katniss Barbie to use the outfit, too!

I do hope your refund arrives. I'm waiting on my mother's life insurance money, myself; at that point I'm fairly sure I'll be treating myself to a couple BJDs, since this year has been horrible so far.
