(no subject)
So how has my weekend been so far?
Well, let's see. Friday I had my first sub job of the school year (which was a surprise; I wasn't expecting to get called in until the first week of September at the earliest). Just my luck, it was high school so I got my morning exercise tramping all around the school picking up attendance slips and dropping off announcements. On the bright side, I picked up some overtime staying after to help stuff envelopes for a mass mailing that went out at the last minute.
Then I got home, and found out Dad had had a minor stroke and Mom had taken him up to the hospital.
He's...well, I don't want to use the word "fine". He's still in the hospital as of tonight; Mom thinks he probably won't be going home until Monday, maybe Tuesday at the latest. When we saw him Friday they'd taken the IV out, but it was back in today. And he's still got a bit of weakness on his left side.
I anticipate that I'm going to be spending much of my day tomorrow as I did today, i.e. up at the hospital. Shaun, if the Doom plot gets up to Elyon's role and you don't want to wait around for me, you've got permission to play Elyon for that plot. We'll just...handwave that Chihiro and Hotaru are part of the Pirate Lord assault force, or something.
