its been a while..
No idea why I haven't updated in so long, guess I've just been lazy..
Theres been a shitload of stuff thats gone on since the last update. The rugby season ended, so we've had the annual end of the season festivities....
Our 'team bonding sleepover' (aka initiation) was last weekend. We went down to Preston again, camped out in the middle of the woods and got trashed. It was a good time.. made the rookies do all sorts of crazy things, got the crap scared out of us all when the herd of cows came running down.
This past weekend was our banquet. The first year I actually had a date, after last years fiasco (sp?) of having 3 dates but ended up going alone, haha. It was definitly a blast.. after spending a good 20 mins or more in the package store we ended up bringing some coconut rum, watermellon vodka, hotdam & vodka... plus a 30pack of course. I also made up a bunch of cheese and crackers, which were real good! Everyone looked real nice in their dresses & whatnot.. I'll try to get some pics up on here once I get them developed. I'm hoping I'll finally have a good picture of me & Ashley.
I think those are the two main things I wanted to update about.. nothing else too exciting went on. Well, except Ashley & I had our 6-month anniversary on the 5th. We spent the day shopping, went out to dinner and to a movie. We saw 'Birth', the previews make it look really good, but it was crap. Then we met up with Kim, Kendra, Lisa & Taylor.. headed to Michele's for a party and then ended the night at Marco Polo. It was a fun day, got to spend alot of quality time w/ my baby, but also got to see lots of my friends that I don't see nearly enough, so that was awesome.
I've been busy with school.. making my schedule for next semester, although Ive been running around getting forms filled out because I need to do 2 independent studies and also get 2 course substitions since half the classes I need to graduate are only offered once every 2 years, if they're offered at all. It sucks! I think I'm also going to take a winter class at MCC. I need to take a winter course, and its like $500 cheaper there, so makes sense, since I'm just taking a random elective anyways.
This saturday is Bonnies birthday, finally ! haha. She's the last of the rugby girls (with the exception of the rookies) to turn 21, so after our rugby thanksgiving dinner (we all bring food and celebrate thanksgiving together) we're all gonna head to Mohegan Sun. I'm excited because I haven't been to a casino yet, other than the one in montreal, but that doesnt count.
anyways, I need to go get some dishes done before shaun gets back. peace out cubscouts
