So I was reading something on Adam Lambert :
http://www.ew.com/ew/article/0,,20007164_20171835_20277643_3,00.html [That's the second page to it.]
And I was actually annoyed reading them go on and on about Adam's sexuality. "Is Idol ready for a gay winner?" Honestly? Like, are you kidding me? I thought the show was supposed to be about how well someone can sing. And whether he's gay, straight, bisexual, asexual,or likes to bang animals. . .the boy can sing. It just irritates me. Like, there are many people who don't accept it, but there are just as many people who do accept it, but it's 2009; it's one of the most common things, and Idol, the MOST WATCHED SHOW EVERY SEASON is going to get their panties in a twist because Adam Lambert likes guys? Granted, the Idol judges aren't concerned, Simon said something along the lines of "Sexuality doesn't matter...blah blah blah THAT'S A BIG STEP FORWARD." It's annoying. Their personal lives should be kept out of it. If they can sing, they do well. It's not that hard of a concept.
I think it just annoyed me because it was the people of EW were trying to get a rise out of it like "OMG CAN THIS HAPPEN?" Just to cause an issue, and it didn't work, it was just annoying.
Lo siento, had to get that out. =]
