Ugh.  I have missed all but the last minute of Stewart Lee's Comedy Vehicle. *le weep*  Thank heavens for BBC I Player.  I also need it for the Now Show.  I must sleep, really, but I would like to watch and listen to the things I've missed... hmmm.

Just in case you were interested, I had a wonderful time in London.  So much so that I now kind of... love it.  I never thought I'd ever really like London that much.  I've had a few good times there, but always figured it would be too busy and crazy for me.  But now, having spent a lovely sunny weekend walking around with a dear friend, I've seen the light.  It's fantastic.  Yes, the Tube is crazy crowded at times and certain areas are kind of deadly.  But everything you could ever think of to want is there and fairly easily accesible (if you have the time and the money, obviously).  I should visit more.  Next time I'd like to eat out in China Town and maybe spend a bit more time in Camden.  I shall save up ^^ (Oh and also, geekily, I'd like to go back to Baker Street and buy some seriously tacky Sherlock Holmes tourist tat.  It would make me very happy)

I may be quietish for a little while in LJ terms.  I have 6 essays to write and a lot of plans to waste time in between writing times.  Plans for tomorrow, for example, involve going to seminars, going to see Lesbian Vampire Killers (despite the critical drubbing it has recieved.  Bad or awful, it will be an experience.  And anyhoo, they panned Black Sheep and I loved that.  It IS possible for comedy horror to go right through being bad, to being so bad it's good, to being so bad it's not even good right through to coming back around to being kind of train-wreck unturnawayable).  And then in the evening, tis time for Mexican food.  There's also plans to get cocktails and crispy duck pizza from Que Passa on Thursday.  And I'm sure I'll find many other ways to procrastinate too that involve taking me away from my laptop :)

Now... to sleep or to Now Show it?  Hmmm... Bimba's tractor trash boyfriend who is no longer welcome seems to be staying over tonight.  So I think a good blast of Punt & Dennis based humor might be in order to prevent me from getting to dangerous levels on the crossometer.  Yes, NOW SHOW TIEMS!

Also: Matt's visiting next weekend!  ^^  Also also: It's nearly time for me to go home and do nothing for a week! ^^

tv, food, travel, radio, complaining
