Hey!  I'm going to post an entry about what I've been doing rather than my various struggles with paranoia, for a change!
I've decided my recent bout of crazy is probably due to one minute having lots and lots of work to do, the next having nothing at all to do - my brain is still running at 70mph whereas my life as spluttered to a halt.  But that's ok because seminars begin again tomorrow and all the new things I have to learn will hopefully give my brain something useful to chew over.

So, life recently has been pretty boring most of the time.  I've been spending a lot of time on the internet, rotting my brain.  But fun times have been had too.  Way back over a week ago there was Bimba's party.  There has also been a night out (which was kind of rubbish as we were advertised a club night but ended up just paying £1 to go sit in a bar *sigh*).  We've also had some cinema trips.  First came Che, which was brilliant, very interesting though perhaps a little bit biased in favour of the 'shiny hero' interpretation of Che.  Then we saw My Bloody Vallentine (3D!).  I found it scarrier than perhaps I should (objectively, it's quite silly and not that scary).  Not because of the amazing 3D gore (a lot of which I missed because I was hiding behind my hands like the big baby I am in horror films) but because of the extensive inclusions of mines (mines are scary) and the killer wears a gasmask (gasmasks are *very* scary).  And after that we went to see Frost/Nixon, which is possibly one of the best films that will come out this year.  Absolute genius.  We still have to go see Milk, which we will be doing on Tuesday, Rachel Getting Married and something else but I can't quite remember what that is. I'd kind of like to go see Defiance, but I don't think Row's into it.  It doesn't look like it's a film that really requires a cinema to enjoy it, so I could just rent it when it comes out on DVD.
Row and I are also re-watching all of Life On Mars.  It's still good even though it's probaly at least the 7th time I've seen each of the series 1 eps.
And yet more fun is on the horizon as Sophie's moving down to south Wales this week and I'm going to visit her new house on the 30th :)
