Yes! That was definitely another reason I loved Finn and Rey -- their sort of geeky excitement after escaping on the Falcon was genuinely adorable.
(And hee -- I can definitely relate to Finn in that situation too.)
And I think that's one of the reasons that TFA really worked -- the relationships all just really felt natural and the actors worked really well together. The bonding over the Falcon thing was great.
And *yes*, exactly! Rey's not portrayed as perfect; she's a character with very real insecurities, doubts, etc., and yes, her enthusiasm for Han, Finn's achievements, and the Falcon is one of many reasons I love her as a character. :3 It helps that it's pretty infectious. :)
Ah yeah -- I only caught that one on my second viewing as well. Yeah, they do have a similar sound to their voices -- that kind of threw me off a bit. But yeah, considering how Ren freaked out when one of his soldiers mentioned Rey in the first place, I think they might have had some sort of past together.
Same here. :) I think if I have one criticism about Poe's arc, it's that they never really show how he got off Jakku. They show it in the novelization, but I wish it was in the movie. But yeah, Poe was very likable, and I definitely look forward to seeing him again in Episode Eight. (Heck, I'm looking forward to seeing all of them!)

She really is.
My impression from the movie was that Kylo may not have ever met Rey personally, but that he knows of her - that she was likely on Jakku, and that there's something about her which could spell serious Bad News for the First Order.
I was okay not seeing how Poe got off Jakku, though I think it would have been nice to throw in a casual mention of having bought passage or hijacked a spaceship or sent out a distress beacon. A bit more character development wouldn't have gone amiss, either, but I was okay with what we got, and I'll be interested to see what they do with his character in VIII and IX.

Probably. I guess we'll have to wait for VIII and IX to find out.
So was I. :) And I think they'll do great things with him in VIII and IX.
