3. That's exactly I would say, too. Plus I think it's a fail when people ship Alek/Jarael because she does not want him. And the TOR!Revan/Bastila- that was supposed to be choice and I can see why Revan would not want to be with her, as well as why he would want to be with her. The whole shoved down the throat then baby!fic, just ugh.
9. I hear you. People take it too seriously. KOTOR has been really kind of ruined for me because of the retcon and people crying about haters for those of us who didn't want the retcon, that did not at all help.
17. Ugh, that is an awful ship. And kind of on the same ground with Alek/Jarael. And I hate how people defend this shit. If you like it, whatever, but don't tell me I am wrong in calling out the unhealthy and abusive aspects of the two ships.
22. LOL!
Same here on hating ship wars. Ship wars are immature. They are a waste of time.
25. I can't really say, to be honest. Except for the original NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET, and that's mostly because...yeah. Also, the new DEMO REEL. Love it, but not really having any ships yet
( ... )
10. Well, DOCTOR WHO, really. And THE HUNGER GAMES.
18. Frodo/Eowyn.
26. I love STAR WARS, but if there's anything I really can't stand, it's the Jedi Order and whatnot. I'm getting to understand them a bit better, at least, but they still kind of bug me a bit, and I especially hate it when some people in general try to act like their faults don't exist, they're always in the right, etc., because they did some pretty (IMHO) sucky things, e.g. how they treated Anakin when he first came to the Temple, etc. Some people in general might think it's my Anakin bias speaking, but if anything, it's just the fact that...I don't really care who they are; they shouldn't browbeat a nine year old for missing his mother. Plus, giving lethal weapons to kids, not letting them see their parents, not helping out with the slave problem on Tatooine...I guess Lucas was intentionally portraying them as flawed, but it still kind of bugs me.
11. In the STAR WARS fandom...nice people, but I really dislike some of the people who try to "enlighten" me about their opinions, e.g. it's wrong to wish for a happy ending regarding Vader because Sith don't deserve happy endings and he got what he deserved, or that Obi-Wan's a chronic liar who distorts reality at his convenience, or what-have-you. I mean, everyone has different interpretations of the same story; they don't need to be enlightened. In the DOCTOR WHO fandom, lovely people, really wish we could retire the RTD bs. Moffat wars, companion wars, etc. They're all awesome; isn't that enough?
17. Pretty much most of my ships in the HP fandom. Might get back to them soon.
21. In terms of in progress, the RR-Verse just because of how fun it is to write. Others include my now-finished NaNo project and "Murder The Dawn". I think I did some good work on them, for what it's worth. :)
