Your main fandom of the year?
TGWTG and STAR WARS, mostly. :) And TRON LEGACY.
Your favorite film watched this year?
Tron Legacy and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. In terms of rewatched films, definitely the Lord of the Rings trilogy and (yes) the Star Wars prequels. Because true, they may have their flaws, but in the end, they're utterly enjoyable to watch. As for the original trilogy -- I'll get around to it. Eventually. Let's say I tried to get back into it and it didn't quite work out -- hopefully on the next tries around, it'll be a bit better.
Your favorite book read this year?
In terms of rereading, the Star Wars prequel trilogy novelizations. Also, plenty of nonfiction writing books, really. :) Call it nostalgia reasons.
Your favorite album or song to listen to this year?
Evanescence's new album. Also, in terms of songs I've just discovered -- there are many, but "Untouched" by the Veronicas is just made of magic. :3
Your favorite TV show of the year?
Batman: The Animated Series, Avatar the Last Airbender, Firefly, and Legend of the Seeker. And hopefully, Clone Wars. :3
Your favorite LJ community of the year?
tgwtg_fic, lotf_redux and kotor_legends. Because really? Those comms are made of awesome. :3
Your best new fandom discovery of the year?
I think finding a degree of kinship amongst those who liked the prequels. :3 Also, Prince of Egypt, Nightmare Before Christmas, Tron Legacy, and a hell of a lot more.
Your biggest fandom disappointment of the year?
The whole Ascension fall out. A big kick in the teeth for everyone involved, really (depending on your point of view, that could also go for FATE OF THE JEDI in general). Also, the matter of Revan -- just the unceremonious way it killed off beloved characters for no other reason than basically flipping the bird to both KOTOR I and KOTOR II fans (and Karpyshyn bitching about those who were -- *gasp* -- unhappy about certain turns of events even before Revan was released), and TOR, if only for the way it basically pulled the Women In Refrigerators card (or Stuffed in the Fridge card, at least) regarding the Exile, and mostly kept Revan around to have his fate decided by PCs just for a cheap gaming achievement -- perhaps I'm wrong, perhaps there is something beautiful in TOR that I'm missing, but...*sighs* I just wish that Karpyshyn had just...wrapped up the stories of the Exile and Revan in, if not happy, at least a satisfying way. This is the opposite of satisfying, really. And really, if it's just a way to flip off your audience for not liking what you do -- why are you even here?
Your fandom boyfriend of the year?
I can't say that I really had a fandom boyfriend for this year. I know. XD
Your fandom girlfriend of the year?
The KOTOR ladies, in terms of "women who I absolutely adore and look up to and would really like to have at my back". I really regret not being able to get back to Kreia, Brianna and Visas for the women love meme (I was swamped. :( ), but seriously? They rock. Very much. :3
Your biggest squee moment of the year?
The Darth Plagueis novel being finally pulled out of Development Hell. Also, seeing the trailer for The Hobbit. There are many others, no doubt.
Also, the Nostalgia Critic's review of Moulin Rouge!, and Doug Walker finally being on a live episode of WTFIWWY. Because really? That was magical.
The most missed of your old fandoms?
I definitely wish I could get back to Harry Potter, if only to finish up this Rose Potter remake I've been mulling over.

Game of Thrones, maybe.
