Angry Joe likes it? What a shocker... The man likes any Star Wars that George doesn't touch directly. That's practically his mantra: "Keep George away from Star Wars."

Pardon me while I give Angry Joe a punch in the junk. I knew there was a reason I stopped listening to that hack a year ago...

That's a little harsh on Joe, but...yeah. *Sighs* I'll admit, I don't get him at times.

He's a lot harsh on George, and tends to lead that Lucas-bashing charge, so he's my sworn enemy. Besides that, giving him the benefit of the doubt, the man is the epitome of the internet populist who hates simply to be popular. He's inconsistent at best on the stuff he does seem to like.

Yeah. :/ *Sighs* It definitely doesn't help that he's a huge Bioware fanboy and tends to follow them without question. Up to the point of, on one podcast, actually suggesting that George Lucas hire the people in charge of the TOR trailers to storyboard for him -- I -- *sighs* Dude, Dave Filoni's doing an amazing job with CLONE WARS, along with George. Leave them the fuck alone.

And ragging on certain movies he didn't see just because they had 3D in them. I mean, yes, 3D's kind of tiring, it can be badly done (although AVATAR did a decent job, I heard), but really? Just go to the 2D screenings or something. And ragging on one of the FABLE games just because it wasn't like the MASS EFFECT games. *Sighs* He's okay, I guess, but my God, he can be an idiot... :/

And yeah, the George-bashing trend is pretty tiring. I don't blame you. :/

You know me... I defend my fandoms (and their creators) at lightsaber point. It's the very least I can do for that which brings me such joy.

I know what you mean. :) I think we all have those moments. :)

If I may...trouble you with boldness, to quote General Grievous, where exactly was he bashing Lucas? If it's out of line; I'm sorry -- I'm not being accusatory per se, just slightly confused. If it's out of line, I'll...change the subject. Don't worry. :)

I just realized, I think I have the wrong Joe. It's "Crazy Joe" known mostly from Farpoint Media, not Angry Joe.

Oops. Sorry, Angry Joe. :P

Oh. XD *Buries face in hands in embarrassment* I'm sorry, Angry Joe. XD Don't worry; I think I made the same mistake. XD XD

*Sighs*

I'll admit I've never really heard of Crazy Joe, TBH. Who is he? #Curious.

Crazy Joe is a reviewer on the Slice of SciFi podcast who is known for his weekly "punch in the junk." Seriously this is his schtick. He's had a hate-on for George since Ewoks, and he's been leading the bashing on podcasts and the net since the birth of both media, especially in the wake of the Special Editions. I used to like that podcast, but he brainwashed the other hosts into the George-bashapalooza, so it became unlistenable about a year ago.

Oh man, that sucks. *Hugs* I'm sorry.

Seriously, good decision. :)

Hey, can't win 'em all. But for every Slice of SciFi, there is a Force Cast. Balance to the Force!

I don't know anything about Angry Joe, but that's not a very rational reason, liking only those things not directly involved with Lucas.

It really isn't. :/

I will admit that I once fantasized about Peter Jackson directing the movie version of KOTOR II, though. Don't get me wrong; Lucas is made of awesome, but I think Jackson's vision...I think it was mostly me watching LORD OF THE RINGS one time too many, but I think Jackson's vision would definitely capture the feeling of KOTOR II, especially considering that KOTOR II's not really the conventional STAR WARS game if you get my meaning. :) But yeah...*sighs* I remember someone on ImagineCasting suggesting Lucas direct "the Wiggles" or something, and...*sighs* Yeah. Not cool, man. :/

How can you watch LOTR too many times? That's not possible!

XD

Yep, LOTR's made of awesome. :) I know that Peter Jackson was my film idol for *years*, man. :) (Damn, I need more LOTR icons. XD)
