First Lyme checkup
So, I told the doc that I feel horrible, that I've felt consistently horrible since starting on the doxycycline, and that my pain/symptoms usually go in cycles and it's just not IMPROVING.
She says that's terrific. Says that's an indicator that the meds are doing something, and hopefully it will improve and I'll actually be better than before. She also says that I've got the worst Lyme test results she's seen, so it may be some time before things improve.
She made us laugh. But still, that doesn't change the fact that I feel really, really awful.
