I don't know if you know - though I've probably posted about it or said it before - but I'm overweight. About three weeks or a month ago I couldn't fit into a lot of jeans size 44 (American size 10) anymore.
And that was turning point.
Since then, I've given up snacks and soda and been living much more healthy. I do occassionally take a snack, like everyone, but not nearly every day like I used to. Every now and then I can't resist the call of a soft drink, but I mostly drink water and tea now. It was a little hard, but not as hard as it was to have to search between the Large Size section. No offense to anyone who needs Large Sizes, but it was just a pretty hard blow to me.
I got frustrated a few times, but now, I'm really noticing my hard work is paying off. I used to set my belts at the second hole, now I can pull it all the way to the fourth one. My size 44 pants are getting baggy and - tmi girly warning - my bras are getting looser.
Yesterday, one of my coworkers said he could really see I had been losing weight (he's struggling with his weight sometimes, too). He said, "I saw you from a distance, and I thought... 'Is that Stella?!''".
I could pretty much hug him to death right then and there XD
It's really... personal to post something like this, but I'm just really proud of myself. I'm making a list for the DayZero Project, and one of my goals is to get to a size 40 (USA size 6). I can already feel myself getting there. Of course, once I get back to the size 42 I used to have, I'll already be whooping with joy.
Also; fill this in? :)
