I have to be the most rubbish person at updating this
I'd like to say that it's because it's been a manic year (which it has), but the truth is I keep procrastinating. Let's see if I can do a run down of last year
1. In May we bought a house which I absolutely adore. I love being a home owner and I love living here. It's like a suburban ideal! Fewer conveniences than where we were living before, but I can live with that.
2. Because the house came in under budget, I got to go to the MLP Fair in Rhode Island, yay! It was fantastic and I met some brilliant people. To make the trip worthwhile, we (not me and Mike, me and friend), went to New York afterwards, which was an experience. Not sure I would do it again, but it's good to say I've been. Took over 1000 pics between RI and NY
3. Went to Cornwall in August with some friends, but the weather wasn't that great, and frankly, it wasn't as good overall as Devon the year before :(
4. My car massively failed its MOT in October and I had to buy a new car, but I got myself a Renault Scenic which I adore! I know, I know, it's a family car, but it's sooooooo comfortable to drive and I can get so much in it!
Okay, getting bored now :P Christmas was good, even if I did spend most of it in pain because I appear to have pulled my diaphragm. It's getting better now, but still sometimes painful, and often uncomfortable. Got to see lots of friends and family, which was really nice, especially since I don't get to see them very often!
So... 2009. We're supposed to be getting married this year, if we can ever get it organised. This is HARD! Any advice? I think it's going to be a busy year all round anyway. January is already starting to look a bit chocker!
