Chad Patterson: Loving son....devoted father
December 20,1979 - May 23,2006
On Tuesday, May 23, 2006, Chad Patterson was murdered in his home in Flint, MI. His father, Dave Patterson, found his son stabbed to death on Tuesday morning. Chad left behind two loving parents and his two year old daughter, Tessa.
I cannot believe people could do such an awful thing. Four people broke into my 26 yr old cousin's home and stabbed him to death.
Chad was always quiet and simple. He never asked for anything. He often went without to make sure his little girl had food in her stomach. His life turned around when Tessa came into his life. After her birth, he made sure everything revolved around her.
Chad's ex girlfriend, Trisha is a major suspect in this murder. She had custody of Tessa even though Chad was going to fight for it. Trisha was a drunk who didn't want Tessa growing up to know her father. Although, I have no idea why. She was the messed up parent.
On Tuesday morning, two neighbors saw 4 people running from Chad's house. He had lived in the house next to his parents for three months. Only 4 people knew he lived there.
Chad worked construction and often went next door to my aunt and uncles to use their phone to see where the job for that day was. Last tuesday he did no such thing. Curious as to why he hadn't come over, my uncle went next door, only to find his son bent over with multiple stab wounds. What is worse in life than to find your son dead in front of you.
The funeral home director talked to my aunt and told her how brutal this murder was. They had stabbed him OVER 100 TIMES. Can you believe it? How senseless this was.
The police have arrested Trisha's newest boyfriend and have warrants for the boyfriend's cousin and Trisha. The fourth is still to be found.
I earnestly ask you to pray for me and my family. If Trisha goes to jail..( and rightfully so ) Tessa will grow up without a mother or father and will someday have to learn that her mother killed her father. My aunt and uncle are fighting to get full custody of Tessa, however it will be difficult because Trisha signed custody over to her mother.
Please pray that justice will be done, comfort and peace will be brought to the family, and Tessa will be raised by good people such as my aunt and uncle.
