Going away for a bit
Hi Everybody
I'm about to leave on my first vacation in three years. I'm taking six weeks off. Most of it will be spent camping so I'm not going to have a lot of net access. I'm not going to be doing a heck of a lot of writing either. Well I will be writing but I'm going to be desperately trying to finish an original screen play that I can maybe get a little money for. I'm quitting my job to take this trip. After the trip I'm giving myself a month of 'self employment'. To attempt to write a spec script or three that might actually, possibly get me into the business. What does this mean for my stories. Well...
I have maybe 20,000 more words to write on Whitman 4. Look for it in maybe October. Sorry.
I have some long Vignettes plotted out. Those will probably get scribbled out at some point before the new year depending on the hours of my new job that I need to get.
I have a Charlie/Ian story that's started. It's in sort of a similar flavor to Vignettes. Again I hope to have it done before the new year.
I have also plotted out a story involving Charlie and Lt. Gary Walker that will make the darkest parts of Whitman 'verse look perky. Brace yourselves if this ever gets written.
I have an idea for a Charlie/Colby/Amita story involving virgin!Colby. No I'm not kidding.
Also, because it's been sort of asked for ideas for a third story to add to Soldier Boys and Marching Home.
Not to mention bits of random Pr0n.
Did I also mention that I have ideas for maybe another half dozen Northern Exposure fic in my Fireworks 'verse?
Oh and I'm feeling bunny nibbles for Life on Mars fic.
All this having been said I really want to get paid to write my own stuff so please understand that if I'm not writing fic for you lovely people, and I do love you all, I'm trying to write original stuff that one day you will all hopefully tune in to and look at the characters and go 'man they would be so hot together I'm going to go write fanfic.' This is honestly one of my ultimate gaols in life, to create tv shows that have fun smart people like all of you as a fan base. So really all the stuff I'm writing for myself I'm also writing for all of you.
I'll drop a quick line when I get back to home base in six weeks and a bit so you'll all know I'm not dead.
