Great start! You've got a wonderful voice for Charlie.

Thanks! I'm going to try to post up one a day. They'll start getting longer. Sex in about a week ;-)

Lovely last line. Fun fic. I shall look at broccoli in a different light now :)

It's tempting to do a whole thing on just Charlie contemplating food.

Heh, nice. Good Charlie voice. He really does seem to spend far too much time with that expression that says his mind is somewhere entirely different, doesn't he?

(yep, I started at part 7, and have now gone back through the archive to start at the sensible 'beginning' end of things).

No worries. You haven't missed anything big yet. Actually you're starting at a good point. Things are about to pick up. ;-)

Nice, it seems very in character for Charlie to go off on that sort of tangent in the middle of dinner.

Charlie stared at the broccoli between his chopsticks. Agent Colby Granger stared at Charlie staring at the broccoli between his chopsticks. Agent David Sinclair stared at them both.
Now I ask are they getting paid for that and isn't Charlie always seeing something no one else is

I'm sure it's over their official lunch break.
