Immaculate Touch

Colby watched as Charlie gently laid Esther into the renovated Eppes family cradle. It had been pulled from the basement a week earlier, the night Esther had arrived. I love this 'verse, and this entry in it. I adore that Charlie is quietly freaking out, not just about there being a baby that he doesn't have any idea what to do with, but how his and Colby's relationship wasn't set up for kids, and how she's a reminder of him screwing up in a big-time way. And then there's Colby who is just as quietly dealing with it. Charlie is forgiven, and the baby is loved because she is his. Set up for kids or not, they'll make it work.

Nicely Done. They really are perfect together in your little 'verse. I like how Colby soothes away all of Charlies worries and insecurities with his words.

Thank you. I have a separate 'verse where they're confused and angst ridden. Here I just try to keep them happy.

Awwww... sweet and adorable, and if I could wrap this fic up and hug it I would do! I loved Charlie's freak out, and Colby dealing with it in such a straightforward manner.
