Fantastic chapter! David certainly got The Talk, all right, just not quite the one he was expecting. I loved Alan's insights into how Charlie thinks and what being a genius actually means in his case. Really great stuff :)

:-) Thank you. This was another part I found tricky because I know what's inside of Charlie's head but it was hard finding another character who could say it out loud.

OH! I loved this chapter hardcore. Of course, anytime I get all three of the Eppes men in one place, I am a happy girl but 3 Eppes Men and a David is even better ( ... )

David's dreams are going to come to a bit of a climax before the end and I had to write motherhen!charlie. You can no convince me he doesn't have it in him. And I wanted to show that there is a bit of balance in the relationship.

There have been a lot of things written about Charlie's early life - as a toddler who did his older brother's homework, as a misfit in high school and an enigma in college - but, Alan's description of newborn Charlie's overactive brain just trying to process the world around him took my breath away. Outstanding. Loved Alan and David together - almost like family, huh?

Great chapter. See you again tomorrow.

Well I always wondered if Charlie was borne with his brain the way it is or if one day a couple of neurons locked into place and it just sort of happened.

It's charlie's turn to take care of david and i love it!
Alan finally shows us that he really knows his son, and it was time for david to have a serious talk about charlie's feeling.
So with all this i think it is an other great chapter, that makes all the protagonists progress for the best!

I think Alan knows Charlie better than he thinks he does and I doesn't matter that he's not with a girl any more Alan still wants grandchildren.
