Only for baseball. Because of the way the bases are laid out it's called a baseball diamond. I didn't know Cricket was played in an Oval until I moved to New Zealand.

:-) You never know when a character for fic will need to know something you don't.

Brilliant use of the prompt. And you know that Peter's an awesome baseball player. Delicious.

It took me two weeks to work this prompt out. A bit embarrassing seeing as how I'm the one who thinks them up. ;-)

Thanks for doing it! I'm attempting a Drabble-a-Day project in 2011 and I look forward to tackling as many of the White Collar 100 prompts as possible.

Best wishes for a Happy New Year!

Good luck. That is a seriously awesome challenge. I don't know if you're familiar with the show Numb3rs but numb3rs100 has almost 300 past prompts to work with. We're still starting out here at whitecollar100 but I do have 3 years of prompts planned in advance.

Wow, there's a creative use of the prompt. I feel like I can just see little Peter there. :)

:-) Thanks. I think visuals are one of my weaker areas so I'm glad you can see this.

Ohmygosh--perfect use of the prompt! And this is so Peter! Trying to keep himself calm, to focus on the task at hand, and to keep himself from getting carried away by dreams of glory.

Best of all, you just made me feel as if it's April, and there's no snow on the ground, and I can catch the 7 train to Citifield. :)

:-) I'll try to write something warm and sunny for the next prompt as well to help mentally melt that snow.
