This year was the year of the drabble. I wrote in total 247 drabbles for numb3rs100 . Let’s stop and consider that for a moment, especially you Emma. 247 drabbles. Plus two extra for the lifein1973 Friday drabble challenge. Normally I put out a novella a year. In 2009 A Silk Pillow drabble 'verse was my novella. I'm not sure what the total word count on that was in the end but something well over 23,300.
This was also a very Numb3rs year. My other fandoms didn't get a lot of love out of me. There was no Northern Exposure and I run the bloody com. There was one Torchwood early on and my Yule fic but other than that it was all N3. Even saying that my big 'verse, Vignettes and Whitman, didn't get a lot. Whitman got none and Vignettes only got two stories, though that second story topped 40k. Yes I do believe A Silk Pillow kind of ate this year, and my brain, and possibly my sanity.
I think I should mention that I feel my big success for the year was in housekeeping. I tagged every single fic (including all those drabbles) by fandom, rating, character, pairing and 'verse for easy access. I also recoded by hand my drabble master list and that took a bit of doing. On top of this I got medicated, spent a year in therapy, and got a new job. So here’s now a list of everything in case you missed anything.
