Ugh and yes, journalists, I blame Lois Lane tbh. But - particularly because the three of them (Bel, Freddie, Hector) represent three very different styles of journalism? Bel is so much a head-person, she is analytical, she is concise, she is intelligent and efficient but also ambitious. Freddie is all heart, he is a journalist because he believes that it's a weapon, a blunt object with which he can hit at all the privilege and corruption and inequality etc. etc. - he has an almost missionary zeal to him, and it makes him crazy but also brilliant. And Hector is Mr. Flash, he's the superstar whose ego can sometimes eclipse the pursuit of the story and he wouldn't have it any other way.
Obviously, Lix is also a glorious example of my other favourite kind of journalist and really distinct from these three. But ugh, there is something for everyone basically.
Lee Pace and Rami make it almost worth it. Unf. I don't even care that they are horrible cliches, I just want them to drop their pants.

No, exactly and I'm so obsessed with it. But Lois Lane is just probably the most formative character along with Clark Kent in my entire life. And I think I'm so attached to Freddie because of how both he and Lois are about journalism? But those three are perfect and I just need more people to make graphics of them!
