IKR? I LOVED EVERY BIT OF DAMON/ELENA INTERACTIONS THIS EPISODE! I think that this week I'm going to avoid fandom some more ;). I love how this shows keeps shattering all the D/E romantic delusions. This ship will happen... but not like that.
Avoid like the plague unless you want to laugh tbh.
AND YES. Like, see, this is why this ship is working for me. Like, Damon wants so much for her to fit into this narrative of himself, he wants her to be the damsel to his knight, the queen to his huntsman, to give him meaning etc. etc. And at every turn, we have Elena sort of not bending to that desire, not fitting into this framework - at least not in the way he wants her to - because she's too busy being the author or trying to be the author of her own narrative. And this is fascinating to me. These two and their fucking narratives. Ugh. Feelings and thoughts, I have them.
Yeah, man, this show breaks my heart re: Bonnie. I'm not even sure what to do with it.
I am legit scared for Caroline. Please, please don't mess this up show.
