Fic + Life update? Also: some of the stories I wish TVD would tell...
Hey - um, anyone?
Wow, it has been far too long LJ, I'm not sure I even remember how to LJ anymore except for my frequent lurking on everyone's blogs.
Anyway, just a quick update as I have to go to sleep:
1. Tumblr is the devil. It is known.
2. I wrote fic, Clark/Lois Smallville Drabbles, Bonnie Bennett drabbles and a Bonnie one-shot, when she falls she wears their bones in her hair. All of them are in my fledgling and still-rather bare fic community to which I will one day transfer all my fics - one day when I am not disgustingly lazy and maybe get off my arse and write fic, hm.
3. I'm not ready for it to be Christmas. How on earth did that happen so quickly? How did an entire year pass without my noticing it?
4. Speaking of time passing - this means my big move inches ever closer - or rather gallops, steamrolls, something that implies speed and menace. I'm moving to a different country, and I'm excited and daunted, but most of all ready for the change.

6. Did anyone see Misfits? Because I saw Misfits. And I am not sure if I will ever recover. Ever. So incredibly fucked up in every way and yet damn if it doesn't hit so many of my fictional kinks in one go. I am a sucker for parallels, for mirroring, for doomed characters and doomed ships. It is a thing.
7. What is everyone watching by the way? I've picked up so many shows, and so many of them appalling and yet ridiculously entertaining - and not just for rage reasons (see: OUAT).
8. The Vampire Diaries and I are in a fight, a weird fight, but a fight. And I think that we might be reconciling but our relationship is going to look very different from before. And I'm scared.
9. In reference to the title. Can we lobby the TVD writing staff to do a holiday episode one year? I don't mind which one but would clearly prefer Christmas. Ghosts may or may not be involved. Eggnog is a must, spiked. Damon neurotically cleaning every surface imaginable. Bonnie and Caroline and Elena having unmitigated laughing fits. Make it happen. Other things I wish would happen of the Damon variety, born from the best conversation ever had by human beings on this earth.
