Oh noes, bb, *hugs* I know, I feel like we haven't had as much Clois - or that Chlollie has been in the forefront but since I ship them, I don't mind so much and I know it's temporary.
I think that there's a similar interaction that Chlollie have with the banter and such to Clois but because the characters are so different, it almost always feels entirely different to me and I always imagine the Clois would play out differently onscreen.
I think the show has definitely had some missteps with Clois - well this entire season, nothing new. But I felt like this episode was a real return to form for them. I could've had more though and would've loved to see them investigating together, we haven't really gotten that since season 9 and I think season 8 did it really well :(. But because Clark was done so well here, and I think Lois too despite the reduced ST, I didn't mind as much. Clark may have gone out into the field alone but it was Lois who put some of the most important puzzle pieces together on the case. But the constant speechifying is very tiresome because it often feels like SV TELLING us instead of just showing us why Clois work so well together. I hope we'll see them working together more.
