Hogwarts High, Mystic Falls, VA... or something like it...
So, I was supremely bored this morning and looking for some way to play around with PSP and this is something I've been meaning to do for a while, well since the latest film came out. And goldy_dollar reminded me of it yesterday and the idea just wouldn't quit... Hogwarts Houses Mystic Falls style.
I'm sure it's already been done for Vampire Diaries and better than I. I know a lot of my other fandoms have done it, so this is redundant. Ah well, my picks. Some were completely obvious, thanks goldy_dollar , I totally used some of your picks but others were REALLY hard because:
a) I'm not a vigorous or passionate Harry Potter fan so I'm not as confident in my understanding of how houses work, I sort of have vague recollections from the magical time when I read the books but it's something that confuses me in the actual canon (is it the essence of a person, is it the potential they have, is it what they choose to be, is it bound in stone, is it their strongest characteristic but what if that changes, is it? Is it? IS IT?). So basically, your guess is as good as mine but I would totally love if people think I'm totally off. And it's harder with characters who are, you know, multi-dimensional to just pick certain characteristics that 'define' them in a given moment or the space that sounds most right for them but I tried.
b) There's a rich tapestry of characters to use from Vampire Diaries but we don't always have the level of information on them that I'd like. So, I'll say it upfront, some characters (Bree, Harper, Lee), I used my own personal canon because who am I? It was super fun!
