So today my mother tells me that I will not be driven to any doctors appointments unless they are on Fridays. Really now? I tell her, "Jesse just sent me 100 dollars so that I can give you guys money for gas" and she says that my dad just said he would not drive me in except Fridays since now he works from home Fridays and the car is available then

i'm not sure if apologizing meant he changed his mind, but if he didn't, well... i don't always have a car, but let me know if you do have an appointment on a non-friday and i will do everything in my power to make sure you get to it.

No it didn't mean he changed his mind, he was just apologizing for yelling at me and basically threatening to kick me out of the house. After I posted this he demanded I come talk to him in his computer room, and apparently me standing in the doorway = disrespect for not "listening to him". I wanted to seriously tell him to go fuck himself. I am an adult, I don't have to be pushed around like I am 7 years old anymore. I told him that I was perfectly capable of carrying a conversation on with him where I stood and he got pretty pissed off that I didn't immediately give in to his stupid whims. I was so pissed at that point I could give a shit, I ranted at him pretty good hence the "empty threats". I think my mom probably had something to do with the apologizing, shes been doing nothing but going on about how excited she is for her grandchild, I would like to see him try to kick me out right now. It's all a power trip to him, and I am not some perfect subservient woman like my mother, if he thinks he can push me around like that he is

Yar, once car fixin' up is done and insurance is allocated I would be totally willing, givin being able to wrangle someone into taking my shift if it's during work :p
