Do you think, that Arthur unconsciously gave his blessing to Lancelot:"Go Lancelot, go...", he said- I think that he just wanted somebody for Merlin, you know it was at the time he was in denial about his feelings...

Then I was like EUGHH... Lady how could you? Water sports, it's soo not my kink... But there wasn't anything drastic...

And do you like to cause distress to poor Gaius... be gentle... his heart isn't as strong as in youth... and all that men going through Merlin chamber... it's not good for him:)

I think that he was simply drunk but I like your interpretation too.
Anyway... I'm pretty sure that Gaius heard worse things. He could as well do worse things (I can't believe I wrote it). :D
