Busy Week...

Monday-Work. Hung out at my son's place in the evening. First time I've been there in a while. Good times.

Tuesday-Work. Home church in the evening.

Wednesday-Work. I gave Valentines (game but no candy) to my Monday/Wed. kids. Came home and fixed dinner for mom, my son and I.

Thursday-Horror day at work. All our company's students came to us direct from their class Valentine's Day parties. Can you say sugar high? Whee! Not the best day to try to teach. Eventually came home. Went out to dinner with my daughter and her bf. A welcome respite. She and I put photos into the book from the wedding we shot pictures of. Almost done.

Friday-No work! Ran errands with mom. Eventually went to see my chiropractor and ran more errands. Then came home and collapsed.

Saturday-I actually worked at Knotts. At the Pictur Gallery even. We were busy, but not crazy busy. I spent most of the night with the costumes and didn't complain a bit. Since I was the extra my shift was shortened, but it was still good.

Sunday-I was going to go to morning service, but the body didn't cooperate. I went back to sleep instead. I got up in time to go to Gothball, a baseball varient invented by Zoe. Since their first game showed them how poor they are at baseball, the time today was spent in going over basics. I could see some real improvement by the time they were done. And what is Gothball? Baseball played by a bunch of "goths." Mostly gamer geeks who haven't even touched a baseball since t-ball days (my son fits into that group). After we celebrated their improvement by going out for pizza. Lots of fun. I brought cookies and did some ball tossing for batters when the regular coaches were busy with other stuff. I'll show up when I can.
Big rainstorm due in sometime tonight. Even if I hadn't looked at the weather sites I'd know it. My sinuses are informing me loudly.

Next week? Tomorrow I'll put the finishing touches on the first college job app I've been slaving over the last 2 weeks. Tues. morning I'll hand deliver it before I go to work. I have another Sat. shift at Knotts. Otherwise teaching, cleaning house, and filling out job apps again. Whee!
My boss has approved my taking a few days off teaching in March, so I can take my mom over to Arizona to enjoy a few days of baseball spring training. It will give us a chance to visit the relatives we missed in Dec. due to mom's eye surgery (and my work schedule).
