Interesting weekend. Saturday morning I was supposed to finally attend a photo club meeting at church. Instead I got hit with insomnia and when my alarm went off I had gotten about 4 hours of sleep. Photo club or sleep? I laughed when, later on in the day I turned the page in my daily desk calendar to the new quote, "Sleep is sacred." I couldn't agree more. Most of the rest of the day was errands with mom, work stuff, and lots and lots of time working on the wedding photos.
Sunday started early. I had an 11 a.m. Ravenwood board meeting down in San Diego. My daughter came down with me (she had stuff to present to the Board), which was nice. The necessary stuff got done, but it was frustrating in many ways. Afterwards several of us went to my favorite pizza place in Escondido (Killer Pizza From Mars) and worked on a historical battle that my daughter an Connor want to submit for the Corona faire this year.
Long drive home, and a quick turnaround. I spent the evening at another Skipper Stand-up Comedy Night. This particular one focused on skippers from the 60's thru the 90's talking about their adventures. The very first female skipper talked about her experiences. It was odd to be around skippers who were around my age, but had such a different experience in the Jungle.
Back to work today. Then up to have dinner with my mother and sister-in-love. Got to spend my Christmas gift cert. on new underthings. *insert happy dance* They're having their annual bra sale, so I got a break, price wise. And we went out to dinner afterwards.
My daughter had her wisdom teeth removed today. She's doing well, but I don't expect her to be functioning normally for a bit.
