Reborn and shivering, spat out on new terrain
For now I'm faking it 'til I'm pseudo making it
No more price changes, no more Jews, NO MORE WAL-MART!!! =D It's kind of funny when you tell your supervisor that you're leaving and they respond with "We've been waiting for it, you're too smart for this place. I wish you the best of luck." (one good thing is that my discount card still works, hehe)
So I started at the racetrack as an EMT about 2 weeks ago and so far so good. I get paid more to start there than I made after 2 years at Wal-Mart (and to basically sit on my butt all day [well, until somebody starts dying lol]) My uniform is cool, too; whenever I go into a store after work, people think I'm a NYS Trooper =) I also got hired at Catskill Medical Center as a unit secretary in the ER. I'm a little nervous about starting there because it was phrased to me as "Well, you basically run the ER." *crosses fingers* Hopefully I won't fall on my face lol.
