Calling all crafters!

I'm going to be running an after school sewing club after the half term and I'm looking for some ideas for a pattern for a project for the kids. It will be key stage 2 (7 to 12 year olds) and I was thinking of maybe doing a soft toy that they can take home st the end of the run of the club.

Any ideas/patterns will be hugely appreciated!
