So today worked out okay.
I ended up taking the fam to the show, which was good and then we all went out to dinner with Aarne (my mother's ex-husband who's basically my stepdad and got me the tickets).
La Cage Aux Folles was good. It wasn't extraordinary, but it was good and the guy who played the butler on The Nanny was in it and he was very good. The other guy was just okay, and he bugged me a little cause he was a drag queen who didn't really walk like a woman.
The chorus of drag queens were just amazing. Acrobats and cartwheels and splits and all in high heels. Made all the more impressive by the fact they were men. And the guy who played the maid was hilarious. All in all, a good show.
I'm waiting for Iris to come watch Veronica Mars, but she's been distracted by Da Ali G Show in the next room, which would be fine normally, but I'm in a big ol' VM mood and I was already waiting on her for a while.
