Supernatural 9x2: Devil May Care

I thought this was a solid, enjoyable episode.

Totally unexpected feels there at the end when Dean told Kevin that he's family. I kind of wanted them to hug it out after all that.

Tracy's anger at Sam was kinda of a surprise -- not because she was pissed, but because they even brought up the Lucifer thing again at all. Aside from those hunters in "Free to Be You and Me" and Roy and Walt in "Dark Side of the Moon," we didn't really see the effects on others as a result of Sam freeing Lucifer. I mean, I would imagine there are plenty more hunters out there who maybe aren't Sam's biggest fans, even if he did fix it eventually.

Zeke -- I'm gonna to call you Zeke -- to the rescue! Gosh, I really hope he's a good guy. Solid plan, using the knife and convincing Sam that Dean offed the demons. But Sam's a smart guy, and that shit ain't going to fly for long before Sam becomes suspicious...so I hope they don't have to use "oh, you were unconscious" trick too often.

Sam was twisting the knife at the end there and didn't even know it when he said he was happy with his life -- because like Dean, we all know that's only going to last as long as Sam's in the dark about Ezekiel. The whole scene was so freaking ominous I could barely stand it.

Miscellany:
♦  Kevin using his hacker skills to force the military lady to cooperate was awesome.
♦  Glad to see Abaddon back in the same vessel, even if the restoration of the crispy corpse was a bit too convenient. Alaina Huffman is so much fun.
♦  Seeing Ezekiel's ragged wings was pretty cool.
♦  Was it me, or did it take a really long time for Tracy to retrieve the Impala?
♦  There wasn't a close enough shot to be sure, but was that prune juice that Dean brought back for Kevin along with the chicken? If so, it's nice he remembered Kevin telling him he was backed up. Ha.
♦  Sometimes I don't recognize the FBI aliases, but I instantly got these two: Agents Stark and Banner. (SCIENCE BROS!)
♦  One of my favorite Dean plaids was back. Mmm.
