Oh, boy. Another season where one brother keeps a big secret from the other. Seriously? Must we do this AGAIN? It's absolutely infuriating. I mean, can the writers really not come up with some other source of conflict that hasn't been done, oh, about 239476 times before??
Miscellany:
♦ "Well played, my boy." How amazing is it that Death respects Sam so much? I loved that part.
♦ I could not care less about what Castiel is doing.
♦ "Yip, yip, yip...am I right?" Ha.
♦ It's quite nice to see Tahmoh Penikett on my TV again. However, I'm reserving judgement on Ezekiel. I would like to believe he's a good guy, but this show has consistently established that angels suck. Then again, I guess it would be more of a plot twist if he wasn't a great big bag of dicks.
♦ Did anyone else find Sam's "angel voice" unintentionally ridiculous?
♦ Callback to season one: I think the actor who plays the doctor is the same one as the professor Dean went to for help in "Scarecrow."
♦ Gas is $2.35 at that service station where Cas was dropped off. I find that the most unbelievable part of the episode. Ha.
