I redownloaded Firefox. That seemed to work for a while. And now the random pop-ups are back. It's like Firefox is ignoring its own pop-up blocker. I've got it set to block everything, but the only time it ever blocks anything is on my homepage (cnn.com). Everywhere else, I get pop-ups, some of which refuse to close and which I have to use ctrl-alt-delete to get them to go away.
My virus scanner (AVG) insists there are no infections. The pop-up blocker settings insist it's working. I just want to be able to read my f-list without having to wait for fucking pop-ups to load!
