(no subject)
The horror on my forehead is starting to heal. Moisturizer seems to have made the ick pull off, leaving mostly pink skin underneath. No school today or Monday, so I have four days to get my head looking quasi-normal. Or at least as normal as it ever does.
I was able to look at lighted screens yesterday for the first time. So, naturally, I spent all day playing Halo ODST and several hours during the night playing Halo 3. Oddly enough, I'm having a slight recurrence of nausea/headache. Because I am Ess Em Ar Tee!
So... latest news is that Imperial Commando will continue, but under another author. I loved Karen Traviss' work, but didn't much like the wank that came along with it. Now where's the suggestions box so I can put Eric Nylund's name in to take over? He's the very best Halo author, he'd make a damn good IC author.
Must get oil change today. On the plus side, I'm only halfway through Halo: First Strike, so I'll be able to spend the time at the shop reading. On the not-so-plus side, there is no plus side to having to spend three hours on uncomfortable chairs with Fox News droning in the background.
