(no subject)
Borrowed friend R.'s Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog DVD. Enjoyed it. Except for the ending, which was seriously fucked up and wrong.
Yes, I am always behind on everything. But I'm fine with that.
Also, I'm duly impressed with the quality of the writing/singing/songwriting for something that was essentially free. It's a shame they can't stick it to the man more often, but rebels tend to eventually become the evil powers that be in turn. Oh, wait, was that the plot of the movie...?

Dreamed several nights ago that I was standing beneath a clothesline over which were draped a bunch of white cotton strips. For some reason I was terrified that they would fall on me--because strips of white cotton cloth are the deadliest danger ever to deadlify--and woke up screaming and shouting.
Hubby was not impressed. Frankly, neither was I.

Worked on Thursday. Did not have a good day. No instructions, neighboring teachers didn't give a damn, evil students, and--oh yeah--NO INSTRUCTIONS. Dear teacher: How the hell am I supposed to sub for you if I don't even know what you want me to do?
Left a politely protesting note. Also wondered aloud to the secretary why there wasn't a way to give detention to an entire class. Oddly, the second day of the job got canceled. But since half of the students' unfinished assignments were missing, and those that were there had been graded by someone other than any of the English teachers (WTF?!?), my complaint may have been the straw that broke the camel's back. Organization: Fail.

Butch possibly has earmites. Have mucked out his ears twice this week. If it doesn't clear up on its own soon, I'll take him in to the vet.

We are in possession of Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2: Civil War. I am a very happy camper. Animation is up to the usual snuff, the fusion fighting thingy is cool, and OMGITSTARTSWITHSECRETWARYAAAY!!!
I want to beat up Nick Fury and then shake his hand. Or possibly shake his hand and then beat him up. Or... y'know... something. I can't understand it. I don't find his non-Sam-Jackson version all that physically attractive, and yet he's still incredibly compelling in a should-be-lined-up-and-shot sorta way.
Yeah. I'm not gonna waste time on this one AT ALL.
(But why oh why oh why did they get rid of Iron Man's Canderous voice????????)
