Friday Fannish 5:
List the five scariest characters ever.
1. Emperor Palpatine. For obvious reasons. Not only is he a Sith Lord, he's a politician!
2. Darth Vader. Is there anyone alive who, upon hearing his breathing for the first time, did not experience a little shiver of dread?
3. Tsavong Lah. Absolutely ruthless warmaster, and a religious fanatic. Liked to preside at long, drawn-out sacrifices. (I mean, at least Shedao Shai had the grace to practice regular painful mediations upon himself as well!)
4. Grand Admiral Thrawn. You cannot beat him. He will tie you in knots without your knowledge, without even so much as the previously obligatory evil laugh. You are either an ant to be stepped upon or, at most, a puzzle to be solved and then thrown away. Get used to your own insignificance.
5. Ysanne Isard. She had her own father arrested and executed for treason, because she wanted his job. Beautiful (in an oh-dear-god-what-is-that-thing sorta way), but would not be caught dead in a Victoria's Secret. It's possible she could have lovers, but she probably serves them up in a stew when she's done with 'em.
