Fibromyalgia:

Joint pain, check.

Sleeping disorder, check.

IBS, check.

TMJ, check.

And now, because I didn't have enough fibro symptoms already--costochondritis, check.

Ever get that sort of rib spasm that makes it hurt to breathe, and you have to stand there and stretch it out till it goes away and you can breathe again? Same sort of pain, except that it happens in the tissues connecting the ribcage to the breast bone.

(I'd be more worried if it were over the heart, but it's concentrated over on the right.)

Every time I get used to this and think it's stabilized, it goes and pulls more crap out of its evil magician's hat.

Next rheumy appointment on the 16th. Will ask about things to do. In the meantime, chest-opening stretches seem to help.

fibromyalgia, health
