I've come to a realization...
So, my realization is that I think the reason I don't write is because I'm surrounded by people. Nosy people. I'm afraid of them asking what I'm writing, and while some people know about my writing, the people I would be writing around do not, and I do NOT want to share with them.
Well, that's one reason. The other reason is that I started writing these stories at around 15 and realized I really wasn't that great, and since I haven't practiced, I doubt I've gotten better at it. So, I mostly just lurk around fanfic journals and read other people's amazing works wishing I could write something amazing.
Recently, I've been thinking it may be time to start trying to combat this. My thought was maybe I could start with snippets and drabbles. Short fics. And just maybe something will come together enough that I'll get a longer fic out of it somewhere. So, yeah, I'm gonna make it my mission to basically start trying to post here way more often, mostly with fic. I'm not very good with writing about my personal life, and even if I do, they will almost certainly be made private. I find myself too whiny to be shared with the rest of the world.
Anyway, wish me luck. Hopefully, I will have something posted over the weekend. ^_^
(Also, I'm going to look into better userpics.)
