Title: Murphy’s Law
Length: Series
Author: LadyDusk_Raku
Rating: PG-13
Genre: M-preg, Crack, Humor
Pairings: Jaeho, Yoosu, MinFood (XD)
Summary: Life is not easy for Micky Yoochun. His family is insane, his school life is complete crap, and every time he turns around he and his boyfriend are having problems. One day he has got to stop saying, ‘What else can go wrong?’
Yeah…Why am I writing this? Because as I was getting my hair washed the day before graduation, (I AM FREE) it freakin’ came to me as I was musing over the outline of my two upcoming fics. XD So, here it is. Plus it’s something hilarious while I write a more serious storyline. I finally managed to tear myself from my addicting gameboy, which I haven’t played in so long that I’m surprised it sucked me back into its trap of portable handheld goodness. -shrug- Anyway you don’t want to hear all that so I’ll just start this thing, lol.
Hope you enjoy my first little crack-ish fic.
Disclaimer: No I don't own the boys but don't we all wish?
(P.S. If you don’t know what Murphy’s Law is, it’s that little adage of ‘Whatever can go wrong, will go wrong, and at the worst possible moment.’ Like being stranded, thinking things can’t get worse then it suddenly rains. )

“C’mon baby, I haven’t been able to see you for the longest time,” His smooth voice murmured into the younger boy’s ear; warm breath caressing the shell of it and sending a shiver of fire down his spine as the contrast of the cool night air and the heat of the older boy’s entrancing words met.
“I don’t know, Chunnie,” the younger stated softly. “You know your mother doesn’t really like me.” His adorable dark brown eyes darted to the left and right, as if on the lookout for said person. They rested on the house not ten feet from them. Micky sighed, hugging his boyfriend closer to him, his arms wrapped around the boy’s slender waist as the two of them tried to stay warm. The silence of the neighborhood and occasional sounds of the night were the only things accompanying them as they stood outside the fence bordering his yard and house.
“That’s not true. Umma is just…‘picky’ about who I date. Parents never think that who their kids date are worthy enough. Don’t worry about it…you’re more than perfect to me, Su.” He blew the light blond strands of hair from his love’s face, smiling when the boy mirrored his own, accompanied by a faint blush.
“Chunnie ah…” he breathed, wisps of white appearing every time he exhaled. Micky gave another charming smile, and leaned in to steal a kiss from him. He hadn’t seen Junsu in a week, and it had been very hard to convince him to come down here, what with the distance between their homes.
So close…
So close…
“JUNG MICKY YOOCHUN!”
Damn. He was in trouble.
Micky drew back, unwilling to leave the space between his lips and Junsu’s unclosed. The blond’s eyes were wide, looking over his shoulder at the form standing in the doorway of Yoochun’s house. A groan fell from the brunette’s lips as he turned around also.
This could not happen right now.
“UMMA, please, not now!” he yelled, which was a really bad choice on his part. He was so glad that it was dark already, because he could feel the glare coming from that front step. A stern voice with no room for argument responded.
“HOUSE. INSIDE. NOW.” He rolled his eyes, exasperated. He wasn’t going to be forced to leave his boyfriend, not at least without a proper goodbye. Micky turned back towards him, eager for that kiss he’d been so close to getting.
“Don’t mind Umma, Su. We can just--” He stood there, gaping, as he watched the lithe figure fleeing down the street and around the corner; the fluffy blond head of hair vanishing within seconds. After all the nerve of him giving that speech about loyalty and sticking by each other a few weeks ago, he turned tail and ran at the first sign of danger! Then again…it was Umma. He pouted, half amused and half angry when suddenly a razor sharp pinch invaded the delicate skin of his ear. Micky yelped, turning to see his mother with one hand on a slender hip and the other inflicting pain with every tug. He grinned sheepishly, wincing. “H-Hi, Umma.”
“You think I’m playing, don’t you?” He was tugged--no, yanked along, forced to follow the waddling gait in front of him; it was ten times harder when your ear was clenched in a tight grip and you were forced to walk, bent over. “I swear I don’t know what I’m going to do with you!” He wisely kept his mouth shut against any comments and grimaced, trying to ease the pain in his ear and the tears in his eyes. Their next door neighbor, a skinny balding man (whom Micky swore was stalking his mother), poked his head out of the door to stare at the two of them.
“I-Is everything all right, Jaejoong-sshi? I heard a lot of noise and…”
“Thank you, Soon Jin-sshi. Things are fine,” Jaejoong replied politely, waving the man off. He tightened his grip on Micky’s ear when he felt him trying to ease away, ignoring the repeated mantra of ‘ow, ow, ow’s. “Goodnight!” Reaching the door, the livid male dragged his son in, finally releasing his now red ear. Micky immediately rubbed the twin crescent marks that marred both sides of it, his eyes still watering at the lingering sting. He hissed at the touch.
“Jeeze, Umma. You didn’t have to act like that. You scared Junsu away! Now my ear hurts like hell--er, heck.” He shrunk back as the raven-haired male glared in warning, his arms crossed.
“You aren’t even off punishment for sneaking out last week. You had no business hanging out with that…boy. Boyfriend or not.” Jaejoong sighed, trying to stay as calm as he could. “I don’t have time for this, Micky.” He leaned back, hands on his hips as he tried to relieve his aching sides. Well, the best a pregnant male could do, anyway. His son winced, pulling a chair out and reaching towards his mother.
“Umma, sit down. You shouldn’t be on your feet so much.” He said, only to have his offer waved off with a frown.
“I’m not an invalid, Micky. The doctor has yet to put me on bed rest, even at nine months. Besides, I’m busy cooking dinner,” Jaejoong gestured towards the kitchen counter that was filled with ingredients and appliances. “If I had needed help you wouldn’t have had the chance to sneak out in the first place.” God, how Micky hated that tone…he wondered if that caustic attitude was something pregnant people shared or if it was just his mother‘s specialty. “Don’t think you’re getting away with this, either. From now on you’re on an extended grounding. When your father gets home we’ll decide how long.”
At least me and Junsu were right in front of the house instead of actually sneaking out, he thought, though he bit the inside of his cheek to keep from retorting. If he said the wrong thing while his expecting, moody ‘mother’ was in the kitchen with all the knives and handy appliances at his disposal, he might not survive. Yep, it was best to wait till Appa got home.
“Fine, Umma.” He said simply, before turning around and going upstairs. He blew up his bangs in frustration, barely avoiding his younger brother as he came dashing down the hallway at the top. “Whoa!” He grabbed the boy around the waist, stopping him before he did something dangerous like trip and fall down the stairs. It had happened to him once, after all… “Watch where you’re going, Moonie. You’ll fall and break your head one of these days.” Moonbin frowned.
“I knooow. I’m s’posed to help Umma set the table, though.” He rocked back and forth on his heels, never one for being still. “I almost forgot when I was doing my homework.” Micky rolled his eyes.
“Just slow down, then. I doubt he’ll get mad at you for forgetting something like that.” Moonbin looked up at him, head cocked cutely to the side.
“What did you do, Micky?”
“Nothing.” Stare…Sigh. “Nothing big. I just went outside to see Junsu and I wasn’t supposed to. Umma wasn’t supposed to know.”
“Ohhhhh... Okay!” His younger brother said, curiosity satiated as he continued his little journey downstairs. Yoochun called out to him as he went.
“You didn’t tell on me, did you?”
“Nope!” Moonbin called back. Micky stuffed his hands into his pockets and walked down to his shared bedroom, not bothering to knock since it was half his and he didn’t feel like doing it anyway. He walked in taking off his coat, looking around before he froze, his eyes narrowing. They locked onto the wide, brown eyes across the room, whose owner was in the mid-action of eating a giant chocolate chip hunk of cookie.
Chocolate chip cookie…before dinner…‘deer caught in headlights’ expression…guilty look like that of the little rat he was…it could only mean one thing…
“What the hell, Changmin, you ratted me out for a cookie?” Micky yelled indignantly. His brother had the decency to look guilty, licking the bit of chocolate from the corner of his lip.
“But…they were freshly baked! And-And Umma wasn’t going to let us have any until after dinner but you know we don’t eat until everyone is home and I was just so hungry after all my studying and homework that I wanted one little bite but Umma said I couldn’t have one and I knew you were sneaking off so I--Hyung, I was so hungry!” Changmin lunged at his brother, hugging him around the waist tightly. Micky stumbled, nearly falling with the sudden weight thrown onto him.
“What the--Min, get off!” he cried, pulling at his arms. The boy refused to budge, shaking his head.
“Not until you say you forgive me. It’s not my fault I’m so hungry, I’m a growing boy. Now say you forgive me!” Micky wanted to point out that if Changmin ‘grew’ anymore he would make the news as a Korean giant, but decided getting him off was the best course of action.
“FINE. I forgive you, it was not your fault. I wont…hurt you or anything.” Changmin opened one eye, looking up at him suspiciously.
“You sure?” The elder one sighed. Oh for the love of--
“Yes, yes I’m sure…” Changmin released him, dusting his knees off as he rose to his feet. “But you owe me that cookie.” The younger boy’s eyes widened and they both lunged for the cookie lying on the farthest bed at the same time. Micky landed closer, and scrambled for the cookie when a pair of teeth clamped onto his hand.
“OW!” He cried, muffling a handful of obscenities under his breath as the younger took the chance to grab the cookie and a few books before running to the doorway and stopping.
“My cookie!” Changmin hissed, before closing the door behind him. Micky threw a pillow at him, cursing again when he missed.
“Tattle-tale! You’re the not the baby of the family anymore you know!” When he didn’t receive a response, he flopped backwards onto his own bed, eyes closed. How retarded had this evening been? First his Umma had scared off the love of his life, just when he’d been close to a well yearned for kiss he hadn’t experienced in a week, then he was grounded for an even longer sentence…and, if you counted it, he’d been bitten by his cookie crazed younger brother. Mulling over that fact, he looked at his hand with a frown. Hmm…might need to get a rabies shot…just in case.

The melody of a love ballad rang throughout the room, causing Micky to jump up, reaching for the source of the sound; his cell phone. He quickly pressed the ‘send’ button and held it up to his ear, smiling.
“Su, how could you run off on me like that after all that 'loyalty' talk?” There was an indignant reply, before he laughed. “Yes…Umma is intimidating, but you shouldn’t let that get to you. I’m pretty sure he wouldn’t……sigh…I got snatched by the ear, but that doesn’t…okay, okay, I wont invite you over while Umma’s still pregnant…yes, I promise. Love you too…get home safely…bye.” He hit ‘end’ before flopping back down in a repeat of earlier.
Just great…no more visits from Junsu. He couldn’t convince the boy to just come down and get along with Umma, and now that he was grounded again, he couldn’t go out…
Turning over in his bed to stare at the red numbers of his alarm clock, he tried in vain to think of ways he could see Junsu without getting into even more trouble than he already was. Letting out another big sigh, he pouted.
What else could go wrong?
