I just read everything you've posted so far, and omg I am completely in love. Blaine Directions is my absolute favorite thing in the world, I've spent so much time thinking about how he would react to and fit in with everybody else in that school, and you are going about it wonderfully. His earnestness is so endearing, and he really is the perfect lens to look through just to see just how screwed up everything is over there; wanting to change it not just to make Kurt more comfortable but to just make things better in general is very him. I adore what you've done with everyone, truly - Finn's fumbly-and-sometimes-overstepping protectiveness makes me love him more, Mercedes's Deep Thoughts on her and Kurt's relationship was a much-needed balm for my Kurtcedes-loving soul, Mike and Sam and Tina are wonderful, Burt is flawless, and I hold Tianna so very closely to my heart.
Most of all, though, your Kurt and your Blaine. Oh my goodness. Teasing and singing and sharing clothes (!!!!!) and being there for each other and holding each other up all while not letting each other get away with bull - they are absolutely, gorgeously stunning. The way you've written their casual intimacy and unending love blows me away, they are so good for each other, solid and steady and the certainty they both need in a world that can't give them much of it. I'm about to reread all the Kurt/Blaine sections, I can't get enough. *_____*
Sorry for all the word-vomit, I just really enjoy all of this so far, and I can't wait to see how you take all of this further. <3 I'm v. concerned about Blaine's mom, and the ever-brewing Karofsky situation, yeesh.
Thank you so much. I totally love long comments, so no apologies needed.
Blaine just wants to help everyone. It's not his fault that people don't realize they need his help!
I really enjoy writing them. Even when the scenario is hard, they're the center that makes the story worth reading, I think. That's what's so fun about writing Klaine, exploring how great they are together, in spite of society's hate, ridiculous circumstances, separation, zombie apocalypse, what have you.
