Kara returns from the Phantom Zone in Bloodline and realizes Chloe is not all she seems and that Clark is not the cousin she hoped he'd be.

This fic is mostly from Kara's POV, and it begins with something I'd always hoped to do/see from someone else: An exploration of her time in the Phantom Zone. There are so many great parts to this, it's difficult to enumerate them all, but there are bits that are hilarious and bits that are so true. When you tell from Kara's perspective, she's nominally an outsider, and thus it's always interesting. Granted, this fic is a little hard on Clark (there are always tensions between Superboy and Supergirl), but Kara is shown to have developed relationships with both Lois and Lana offscreen, so she doesn't think of them harshly and instead we see how she was willing to sacrifice herself from Lana and how sisterly she was with Lois, who took the time to teach Kara some self-defense moves! On the contrary, it was Chloe who she'd never connected with. Until now.
