Ripping for Vidding

Most of the time, ripping is going to have two steps. I tried an 'on the fly' ripper that's supposed to do both in one program, but it just crashed every time I tried it. Grr. My father was using another that decrypts, then converts immediately in the same program, but the colors went all wonky sometimes. So I settled myself into trying DVD ( Read more... )

I am not opposed to trying different kinds of software. This is just the first one that actually worked for the express purpose of dealing with MovieMaker, which I know that ANYONE with Window has. Also, it can put things in the format for Macs as well, and anyone who has a Mac has their free video editor (except theirs is actually GOOD).

Tryin' to share the love. If I ever get the gumption up, I might take some screencaps and attempt to make a MovieMaker how-to. Although it's easier just to stand over someone's shoulder and just show them. I've informed my gym friend that I'm going to do that to her this summer. So she can teach her mother, so her mother can make Cas/Dean vids :D
