Does it piss anyone else off...

That everyone in fiction is rich enough to own a cell phone?

This guy is whining about how the existence of technology means miscommunications can't occur.

Of course, as one of the last remaining hold outs on the cell phone era, I can tell you that sometimes, being able to pay for a roof over your head or peanut butter to survive on is more important than having a glitzy new cell phone all the time.

Then of course, you have the reality that cells don't work everywhere, regardless of what X-Files would have had you think back in the 90s. People forget their cell phones. My roommate leaves hers at home... always. People drop them and leave them in random places, or people steal them. Then the battery might be low or it got smashed.

Which is to say, all of the inopportune twists and turns of fate can still occur in the digital age, if you have a hair's breadth of ingenuity.

I know I'm just grumpy because I have to get a cell/blackberry for work and haven't gotten around to it yet, but there's no reason to go bananas over technology. Just consider reality a little bit when you write. Is it that hard?

Secondly, Pyramid Head is HAWT, so will game makers have to reevaluate what turns on women gamers? Surprisingly, it's not a pink gameboy.

What I love about this article most, besides the abovementioned, is that "Pyramid Head is the Silent Hill series' most iconic character." Snorfle.

Even better, hatecrime smackdown: Murderer of transwoman Angie Zapata is convicted for life without parole +3 years. I'm glad the defense they were putting up didn't fly, because it sets a horrible precedent to say that you can beat someone to death for being gay or trans... if you're panicked. Ohhhh, he was panicked! He wasn't thinking! Whatev. Hate is hate, and murder is murder.
