Okay, I had more than one crazy dream last night, but here's the one I remember best.
So there was this pregnant teenager (16) whose voice sounded annoyingly like Sookie Stackhouse (only she seemed more intelligent) and her town was in a tizzy about All Hallows Eve because every year they go there to speak to the spirits, so she stood in line to wait. There was some pushing and shoving in the line, and she fell. Since no one offered her a hand up, when they all bowed their heads in prayer and began to ask the spirits questions, she remained on the ground, curling up her legs so no one would step on them.
As they prayed, she recognized the voice of the 'ghost' talking, so she opened her eyes to see a woman from the village up with the elders answering the question as though she were the ghost. The people got angry, argued with the elders, and then left. She stayed awhile among the graves. Once it grew dark, spirits started to come out, and she found a spirit (played by Micheal Rosenbaum). His best friend (played by Tom Welling) was there also, having come there from another graveyard to spend their time together. At the end of the evening, as light was coming up, the first spirit reached forward, wishing that he could actually feel the baby move, or help take care of the girl (I mean, there are no parents in sight).
Suddenly, he was sucked side the baby's body (I'm guessing there was something wrong and this baby had no spirit of its own), and so the girl sort of smiled, having the chance to have met her baby's former life (kinda). The spirit's friend was unhappy because then he'd be alone, and still a ghost, so he decided, since he's the sort of spirit who can wander when most spirits are bound somewhat by location or at least to a person, he went out to find a baby that had not yet been given a spirit, so he could meet his friend in life again.
My sleeping brain is insane.
