I love you. I love how she's so determined to learn those typing things, soon, like real soon so she can be a reportur.

Yes! Or Lex might actually fire her, or even worse, cut her off. :P

Heheheh. I suspected you might like this one. I've been itching to write it for awhile. >:)

I absolutely *loved* this. This was a very interesting look at both the extremes Lois would need to go to in order to keep her job when being interviewed by someone with even a minimal eye towards actual qualifications. and also what might spur her to actually begin to understand that journalism is a profession. It has a skill set beyond being curious about things. It’s insulting to reporters to imply otherwise and is yet another thing that bothers me about how SV portrays Lois Lane.

This was my absolute favorite part -

“No.” Luthor moved over to the chair next to hers and leaned over it on his forearms. “I have two questions. First of all, with a woman who has had such a short attention span for her jobs since she entered the work force, why should we trust in your continued interest in journalism? And secondarily, what makes you think a college dropout with no degree, experience at a tabloid that would actually damage both your and The Daily Planet’s credibility if you ever managed to write an article we could publish, no ( ... )

High praise! Thank you! :D

As I was writing, I anticipated the rebuttal that Lois would never use sex for this and that my portrayal was out of character, except that she does, with Grant she pretty clearly knows that it's inappropriate and doesn't care, and it's also her first line of persuasion when trying to get into places or get information (whether the person is male or female). So, unfortunately, the show has established that Lois will use sex, and it doesn't matter much to her if she uses it.

If all the guys thinking someone is hot makes a person Lois, does that make Lana Lois? o.O That's nonsensical. Lois has a lot of iconic traits, and although they gave a lot of them to Chloe, it would still be possible to write her 'iconically' without destroying Chloe's career or lowering the bar ( ... )

I think THIS "Lois" would totally do that since she essentially sid the same with GG anyway. Loved Lex saying he'd rather have CHloe but he knew better than to ask. Lex's criticisms of CHloe could have fallen right from my mouth as well. She has had it handed to her over and over and that needs to stop. Well done!

Yes, I agree that's basically what she was doing with Grant, although Lex will be more of a mentor than Mr. Bengal Tiger. Thank you for reading and commenting. I'm glad you enjoyed it! :D
